ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud Investigation
ACORN’s Las Vegas headquarters has been raided by Nevada authorities looking for evidence of voter fraud.

Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.

Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state’s office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about “erroneous” registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. Read more

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the cause of the American decline

October 3, 2008

Here is a quick look into 3 former Fannie Mae executives who have brought down Wall Street.

Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae.  Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae  when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae’s accounting activities. At the time of his departure The Wall Street Journal noted, ” Raines, who long defended the company’s accounting despite mounting evidence that it wasn’t proper, issued a statement late Tuesday conceding that “mistakes were made” and saying he would assume responsibility as he had earlier promised. News reports indicate the company was under growing pressure from regulators to shake up its management in the wake of findings that the company’s books ran afoul of generally accepted accounting principles for four years.”  Fannie Mae had to reduce its surplus by $9 billion.   Raines left with a “golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear. Read more

Memo’s from Senator Cochran’s campaign

October 3, 2008

Over the past week, Senator Cochran has been working hard with his colleagues to find a solution to the nation’s financial crisis.  As most of you know, the Senate voted Wednesday on the Stabilization Bill in which both Senator Cochran and Senator Wicker voted ‘no’ on the plan.  However, the package passed in the Senate with a 74-25 vote.  Senator Cochran’s position stemmed from the idea that Congress should take the necessary time to craft a deliberate solution instead of rushing into a plan that might not get to the core of the problem. So,,,, Barack Hussein Obama wants change.

Tupelo, MS

editor’s note:  I can’t either confirm or deny these are the facts right now but found them interesting.

Body count. In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago, 221 killed in Iraq.

Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin,
Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.,
Gov. Rod Blogojevich,
House leader Mike Madigan,
Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike),
Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of former Mayor Richard J. Daley)…..the leadership in Illinois…..all Democrats.
Chicago is a combat zone. Of course they’re all blaming each other. Can’t blame Republicans, there aren’t any!
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County(Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look’em up if you want).Chicago school system one of the worst in country. This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois and he’s gonna ‘fix’ Washington politics?

What Kind Of Change Do You Really Want?

Please watch the video and see if that’s the change we’re being offered that you’d like to have.

Barack Hussein Obama and Jesus Christ were both community organizers?

September 17, 2008

Tupelo, MS

It appears the talking idiots are at it again.  Now really was Jesus a community organizer?  Jesus was not because His kingdom was not of this world, according to him.

Now, let’s take a look at other community organizers.  The first one in history would be Lucifer.  He tried to organize his minions to overthrow the throne of God.  Thankfully, he failed miserably.  Others?  Of course we could always talk about Stalin, Hitler, et al.  I’m sure there were some good ones though but to call Jesus a community organizer is totally ludicrous.  That said, I’d call Barack Hussein Obama a community organizer in the mode of those named above.  He thinks he’s some type of Messiah but the boy is so totally wrong.

When we lose our will to fight, we lose our freedoms.

September 13, 2008

Not much you can add to that.  Please watch the video in it’s entirity I have posted today.  I’m guessing it’ll be the best of the political season.

Wow is about all I can say.  My son was then two years old and was at my mother in law’s house. I wanted to rush and get him and hold him.  It seems like eons ago in some ways but only like yesterday as well.

Will this war on terrorism ever end?  Who knows but we MUST NEVER forget what happened on the day that changed our lives.

What did it change for you?

For me, it forever cemented the way I feel about radical Saudi Muslims.  Like the saying goes, “everything I ever wanted to know about Muslims, I learned on September 11, 2002.”

For me, I think that says it all.  Feel free to disagree if you like.

Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani made the best statement I’ve heard in years.

September 9, 2008

Because “change” is not a destination … just as “hope” is not a strategy.   Rudy Guiliani,,,, 2008

I have a question for the readers.

How would you like to select the topics to talk about?  I’m so busy right now with a campaign that I don’t have much time to write and/or post.  Still, you decide what you want to discuss.  If there’s enough interest, I’ll start a message board with a link from here to it for open discussions.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick Resigns in Plea Deal

editor’s note: This reminds me of the theme song from the original Dukes of Hazard as sung by Waylon Jennings.

Just the good ol’ boys,
Never meanin’ no harm,
Beats all you’ve ever saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was
born.

Kwame Kilpatrick stepped down as the mayor of Detroit Thursday after pleading guilty to two counts of obstruction of justice stemming from a sex-and-misconduct scandal that has plagued the Motor City for months.

Kilpatrick also pleaded no contest to assaulting or obstructing a public officer as part of the plea agreement. Read more

What we have this election season would be funny if it were a movie plot.  On one hand we have a senator that’s running for president that is everything in the world that I’m against.  He’s a border line socialists and stands for very little that I have believed in all my adult life.  On the other hand, we have Illinois Senator and democratic candidate Barack Hussein Obama.  Read more

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has a plan.

August 20, 2008

Tupelo, MS

When Nancy Pelosi took over the U.S. House of Representatives gas was $2.50 a gallon. She had been a very vocal critic of President Bush’s lack of an effective energy policy and declared an energy policy to be one of her top priorities.

Earlier this month, over Republican objections, she shut down the House of Representatives and went on a month-long book selling tour. The Democrats, under Ms. Pelosi’s leadership, have repeatedly blocked efforts to formulate an energy bill, and we can all attest to how much the price of gasoline has increased under her leadership. Defendant admits giving Musgrove $25,000 “gratuity,” while MS taxpayers get saddled with $55 million bill

WASHINGTON, DC — First, there was the news today that Democrat Senate candidate Ronnie Musgrove is the public official in the case of the failed Mississippi Beef Processors Plant. Now, there’s news that not only is Musgrove the public official, but that a defendant in the Beef Plant case admitted that “gaining the favor of” Musgrove was the purpose of a $25,000 campaign contribution — a contribution that charges in the case labeled a “gratuity.” Read more
